Ok, I admit it. After about 2 months of go-go-going around Western Europe, I’m a touch burnt out. And I only have myself to blame. I’m the one who set this pace. I’m the one who added places instead of subtracting them (I’m looking at you, Cordoba and Granada). I’m the one who took that most recent 7 hour bus ride in spite of the fact that I felt like CRAP just so I could come to Porto, Portugal and do…nothing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure Porto is a nice place, it’s just rainy cold and dreary right now. Not exactly what you want when you’re already sick. I can’t even take advantage of the awesome port wine that gives Porto it’s name, reputation, and history. Suffice it to say I’m really looking forward to getting to Australia in 10 days(!) and slowing down a bit. Ok, a lot. I’m planning on finding a job (or 2) in Melbourne and digging into the city for the next 4 or 5 months. It’ll be nice to have a place to call my own for a bit and will give me some much needed time to work on this blog. I have some ideas for mixing up the look, not to mention enough material for at least another 15 video posts. On that note, I’m going to explore Porto a bit while my non-queasiness and the lack of rain holds out. Till next time!
