I wasted a lot of time and money this year trying to create a successful website for my ecotourism company. Pretty silly of me since I have NO experience designing websites. When my brother, who is a technical genius starts to talk about anything computer-y, my eyes tend to glaze over. It’s just not something I’ve ever been that interested in. I can email, text, and search…what else do I need? I don’t have an iphone or an ipad and my ipod is circa 2008. I realize this lack of obsession with tech makes me something of an oddity in my generation, but there you have it. This is partly the reason I started this blog…to force myself into the technical age. I know that if I’m going to have a successful ecotourism company some day, I’m going to need to have a strong online presence so I might as well get in the habit of it now. To that effect, if anyone knows a real helpful tutorial or online course on web design for beginners, PLEASE let me know! I need all the help I can get!
